The musical tradition of church in the middle age is associated with judaism. There were singing of psalms and sung recitation of other scriptual passages, the sacred singing was accompanied by instruments.Music in the romen cathelic is perfomed mainly for the mass.Medieval music is an era of weatern music ,instrumental music,secular music,choral music.This era begins with the fall of western romen empire and it led to the foundation of several music theories and notations.During the middle age most of the music was vocal and unaccomapnied and most of the musical activity was based on church.It made a greater impact on society due to influence of various foreign cultures.A fugue has three sections: an exposition, a development ,and finally a recapitulation.But all fugue is not having this.Fugue is a contrapuntal composition in which the subject is introduced by one and taken up by others.the main characteristics of the baroque era was exaggerated motion and clear detail used to produce drama music and dance
