Suppose that 8% of products on a production line are defective. An inspector randomly selects these products one at a time until he finds a defective product. There are two parts to this problem.

a. What is the probability that at least 12 products must be inspected in order to find the first defective product? Start this part of the problem by stating what X is in words and giving its complete distribution (i.e., write "X = ____" and "X ~ ____", where the blanks are filled in with the appropriate information). Probability statements are required as part of the work.

b. Using the same X as in the previous part, suppose we want to know the probability the first defective is found within the first 10 products inspected. Write the probability statement of interest. (You do not need to find the probability - just write the probabiity statement.)
