Should welfare funding (including entitlements and other spending) be increased within the states? Examine both sides.
WELFARE FUNDING:
It means one way transfer of fund by government to financially weaker section, which is being collected from the taxpayers, through different means, like children's education, medical facilities, poverty stricken families, etc.
Each and everything in the world has some pros and cons.
Advantages of increasing welfare funding are:
1. It helps the people who are really in need of fund in their tough times.
2. It helps in maintaining equal wealth distribution among people.
3. Helps to enhance social security within states.
Disadvantages of increasing welfare funding are:
1. Involvement of frauds. The people who actually do not need any financial aid, will manipulate the income statements, and false claim for fund.
2. Rate of unemployment will increase. People will start depending on these free facilities and entitlements, thus they will not have any urge to enhance their knowledge or efficiency to deploy themselves.
3. Decrease productivity, due to the presence of laziness in their nature, as they will not try to work hard.
As a conclusion we may say that there is a need for such one way transfer but with some restrictions, for overall wealth maximization.
Should welfare funding (including entitlements and other spending) be increased within the states? Examine both sides.
