A hypothesis that relates to marketing or consumer behaviour could be that of a company which is launching a new product trying to find out if there is a difference in the spending habits of males and females during big sales. So the null hypothesis could be that there is no difference in the mean spending while the alternative hypothesis could be that there is a difference.
To check the ANOVA analysis our hypothesis is:
H0: the mean amount of time spent by families from different regions is the same
H1: the mean amount of time spent by families from different regions is different
The results are statistically significant means we reject the null hypothesis at the given level of significance and conclude that the mean of time in different regions is different.
Once this is true we need to conduct tukey test, post hoc analysis to find out which region differs from the others, which is the greatest, which is the least
Tell me about a hypothesis that you would like to test that relates to marketing/consumer behavior....
what would you recommend about NARS cosmetics marketing efforts? what is the consumer behavior rationale?
Homework8 Name and types DUE: April ANOVA theory 17, 2019 1) Why can we not do a series of t-tests when comparing more than two groups? 2) For an ANOVA, in English, what is the null hypothesis? The alternative? What would it mean to reject the null? How is this different than when we reject the null in a t test? 3) If I told you I ran a three-way MANCOVA, what could you tell me about my design and...
Thank you for your response to my first question. COULD YOU PLEASE ASSIGN SOMEONE ELSE TO HELP ME? I HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR HELP FOR SEVERAL HOURS. THIS IS A FICTITIOUS STUDY. ALL OF THE INFORMATION THAT I WAS GIVEN IS BELOW. PLEASE READ IT. For part #2, when comparing gender, GPA, and GRE test scores, would the statistical analysis be a one-way Anova, a two-way Anova, or a different test?.(See complete assignment below.) Using this information, develop the following...
Part A) Come up with your own study idea, just like the scenarios you see in the questions above. Explain the study (just like in scenarios above), and then tell me the following information for your study. Make sure this is your own original study idea! DV: Null Hypothesis: Alternative Hypothesis: Type of Analysis you would use to test the hypothesis in your study: Part B) Now, pretend you actually ran the study you came up with. Make up the...
Tell me about your favorite commercials, billboards, radio ads, etc. What do you like about them? Are they effective? Please explain what could be done to improve these advertisements. What do you think marketing is, in other words, how would you define marketing? How much power does today's consumer really have? Please be sure to apply the lecture content and Peppers and Rogers theory to your defense.
can
you do this project for me like use baseball and batting averages
or whatever you feel like using
we
had to create our own problem
Statistics project For this project you will be picking a topic and doing a hypothesis test for that topic. There will be five parts for this project. The four steps that I have outlined in the course, null and alternate hypothesis, check requirements, find the test statistic and p-value, and compare p-value and write...
Question 21 You wish to co participants and administer a different test to each group. Which analysis should you use? mpare the results from three different personality tests. You get three groups of O two-way ANOVA 。x' goodness-of-fit t test one-way ANOVA Question 22 When we say that a result is statistically significant, we mean that we have rejected the alternative hypothesis a strong relationship was shown. O the results were too unlikely to have occurred by chance if the...
Can you help me with this question please? I feel like my null and alternative hypothesis is incorrect Research Objective 9: Test whether students think inconvenient operation hour or inconvenient location is more important regarding the reasons that prevent them from using the library. Survey items: Distribute a 100 point among these eight reasons below based on how important you think they are to you (0= Not Important At All;100= Extremely Important) Operation hours do not fit my schedule The...
Think about a population mean that you may be interested in and propose a hypothesis test problem for this parameter. Gather appropriate data and post your problem. Include the null and alternative hypothesis, alpha value, p-value, and a conclusion. Make sure that you use appropriate terminology, specify whether you are using the classical method or the p-value method, and fully explain your solution. How do we determine that we are to fail to reject the null hypothesis? What process do...
