In push up : involving muscles are chest mucle, shoulder muscle,and triceps muscle.

In flexed arm hang : Involving Muscles are chest muscle, shoulder muscle , wings and biceps muscle.

Both the test we can assume strength of chest muscle and shoulder muscle.
