ip attacks usual follow a set pattern and go through three distinct phases name and brief class the three phases of ip attack using relevent security terminology in order to support your answer
In every network attacks, the intruders follow a general pattern that helps them to execute the attack effectively. The pattern consists of three phases namely Objective, Reconnaissance and Attack phases.
Objective Phase
Objective phase identifies the goal of an attack. In case of an IP network attack, the objective of the intruder is to gain the IP address of the particular system which is to be hacked so that they can access the data to manipulate through a network.
Reconnaissance phase
In this phase, the intruder gathers information about computer systems or the host systems and the organization it belongs to. In case of IP attacks the attackers scan the network looking for vulnerable hosts or applications so that they can conduct IP spoofing or DOS attacks efficiently. Strong security measures can protect the system from information leaking of a network like firewall protections, physical security etc
Attack Phase
In the attack phase, the intruder begins to attempt accessing network by spreading malware or by increasing traffic to a host network and cause Denial of service. This phase can be protected using several methods like packet filtering, using spoofing detection software and cryptographic network protocols.

Rocky Mountain Corporation (RMC) has relocated to a new building that was previously wired and set up for a local area network (LAN). The company implemented a 50-user client/server-based wireless network, using WPA in which all printers, folders, and other resources are shared; everyone has access to everything and there is no security outside of the defaults that were in place when the system was set up. You have been hired to secure the RMC network and ensure that the...
