As Healthcare manager, it is my duty that management of healthcare organization occur with effectiveness and efficiency. in this i would focus on providing quality care to patients and reduce cost of business. The 10th use will help me to do that.
The use called " regulate the collection and use of health information." will help me to make sure that patient's information is right, safe and sound in my organization. for this I would implement EHR in my healthcare organization where information of patients will be collected electronically and saved in our database with security so that only authorized person can have access to that.
As health care manager i will focus on complying HIPPA privacy laws where information of patient will be kept private and have access to family who patient give consent too and authorized person. any staff violating this will face disciplinary and legal actions.
As manager i will implement health information management system short name HIM in my organization which would help me and staff of the organization to acquire, analyze and protect digital and traditional medical information vital to providing quality patient care.
