In consideration of the workplace, what is meant by “Leadership is everyone’s business?” Explain how you can take these principles and apply them to yourself and your current occupation.

Leadership is everyone’s business, as leadership is not considered as title of an organization, or specific one department or people can’t drive such leadership initiatives, further, any organization face uncertainty, changes over time, so, they need to grow with various competitive requirements, further, every organization need to improve quality level, service level, keep Innovation at the workplace and achieve higher customer satisfaction rate, all such demand require people to improve their leadership skills, that further can help to improve internal processes, bring collaborative efforts, everyone need to participate, and such participation is crucial for organizational success, hence, leadership is everyone’s business.

Here, I should understand about various principles of leadership, that could be like maintain fairness, be honest, recognize the team and individual’s effort, be responsible for the tasks, etc, these principles can be followed in day to day work life, I should be more aware about the organizational goals, visions of the organization, others like policies, practices, code of conduct as set by organization, further, I should be having necessary technical knowledge and project management skills, experience and knowledge, also all such principles to be applied over time to receive effective result, for example: team members achieving the performance objective, their performance has to be recognized first and they should be rewarded like they should get bonus, incentive, if they achieve the tasks in prior time and maintain the quality as well, this way principle like reward and recognition can be applied to my occupation and other organization also can follow the same.
