Describe a time when you successfully generated and converted a prospect into a client.please tell us about a time when you successfully influenced others to pursue a cource of action. any obstacles you faced and how you addressed them
Answer: One instance when I successfully generated and converted a prospect was when I worked as a part time insurance agent. I made cold calls to some shops and talked to the people. One of them was interested in purchasing an insurance policy. I went to his home and enquired about his needs. He expressed a number of queries about our insurance plan. These were major obstacles during making the purchase. I told him that I will return next day after preparing a presentation for the product as per his needs. I consulted my senior and made a presentation with facts and figures as per the queries of the prospect. Next day I went to the prospect and made the presentation. He was impressed ad satisfied and purchased the plan.
One recent example when I successfully influenced others and pursued them for action was just after the outbreak of COVID-19. Some of my friends were moving out without mask and were making handshakes. When I told them to use masks and avoid handshake, they said that they felt uneasy and it was unnecessary to wear a mask and hand shake was in their habit. I myself wore a mask and avoided handshakes and regularly insisted them to wear mask while they were moving out. I also sent them educational videos and thus by my own behavior and by pursuing them I was able to convince them about wearing masks and not to shake hand. Thus I was successful in pursuing and influencing them.
