Do you think that for example in New York City that compensation from one company to the next follows a certain trend to retain or attract skilled staff men/women to motivate and compensate workers to help increase returns or profits for companies within similar markets, or can differences in sales force compensation be the motivating factor to work for one company over another offering different compensation packages with a higher or lower incentive for the sales force.

Sales force compensation is the main objective for a sales professional to take up a job or leave a job. Many companies use this as a tool to retain or employ experts and experienced people. Also they offer higher pay for those who would like to quit the company and join elsewhere.So it is true that companies follow trends to retain employees or motivate them. Differences in sales force compensation makes employees choose jobs and they might skip companies to get higher compensation or incentives. In in sales everything depends on the compensation given to the employees.
