Answer #1

Solubility of oxalic acid in water is given as 90 g/L.

1 liter (L) = 1000 mL

So the solubility is 90 g per 1000 mL

To dissolve 1.5 g of oxalic acid the amount of water required = (1.5 g x 1000 mL) / 90 g

                                                                                                     = 16.7 mL

16.7 mL of water is needed to dissolve 1.5 g oxalic acid.
