Net Force = mass x ( Net acceleration )

Here net acceleration is sum of acceleration due to gravity and the lift acceleration.

Net acceleration= 9.8m/s2 + 2m/s2 =11.8 m/s2

Net force = 51 x 11.8 N = 601.8 N
