The printing press transformed human knowledge because it expanded information to more people which eventually led to the innovation of humankind. The necessary simplicity of oral communicating affected the depth of understanding people had about news because through oral communication, news spreads faster and somewhere along those communications, rumors occur which also lead to information being misinterpreted and false. Since most of the information came from the pulpit, the church would change information to only match their beliefs and would sometimes not give the truth. The printing press changed this because it gave people access to information individually and made people more notified instead of having to believe one organizations information’s as truth without actually knowing if it was right or wrong.
