Answer #1

1) The chemical reaction between copper chloride, water & ammonia give rise to a copper hydroxide aqueous solution.

CuCl2(s) + 2H20(aq) + 2NH3(aq) -------->Cu(OH)2(s) + 2NH3Cl

(1)

2) The chemical reaction between copper hydroxide and sulphuric acid give rise to copper sulphate.

Cu(OH)2(aq) + H2SO4(aq) --------->CuSO4(aq) + 2H2O(aq)

Base Acid (2)

This is an acid base reaction( neutralization reaction). Here copper hydroxide act as base & sulphuric acid act as acid.

3)The chemical reaction between copper sulphate and zinc give rise to zinc sulphate aqueous solution.

CuSO4(aq) + Zn(s) ----------> ZnSO4(aq) + Cu(s)

Blue colour colourless

(3)

As Zinc is more reactive than copper so it replace copper from copper sulphate solution & Zinc sulphate solution is formed.This is represented by colour change from blue colour (CuSO4(aq)) to colourless (ZnSO4(aq)).
