what network topology is when 2 windows computers , a small switch and two regular patch cables connected?

is it peer to peer or client-server model ?

Switch is a smart multi-port device, used to connect multiple computers building a network.

Now, multiple computers when connected to switch, it forms a star topology. where switch acts as a central hub that smartly transfers packets in the network. Failure of switch will disband the whole network.

Now when it comes to peer to peer or client server model, there is a major difference and that is,

In client server model, there is a central server which has all the data clients need and they access those data from that central server.

But, in peer to peer model, there is no central server. Devices connected in peer to peer acts as both client and server. Like, If a device sends a request it acts as a client and if a device is been requested to then it acts as a server.

So, in the question it says two windows computer are connected and as we know computers can acts as both client and server and also in switch connection there is no need of centralized server.

Hence, the above arrangement is a peer to peer model and Star topology.
