China has very high power distance and hierarchy is expected to be respected in the society. US on the other hand has very low power distance and people across social strata / organization levels communicate more freely.
China is a highly collectivist society and people consider interest of larger group as important. Individual who grew up in US is expected to be far more individualistic and prioritizes self interest
Both China and US are masculine society driven by competition and success.
Both China and US have less uncertainly avoidance. Therefore there is comfort with ambiguity. It is also reflected by large technological innovations in both the countries due to high risk taking attitude
China has long-term orientation than US. Chinese hence are more thrifty and believe in investing and saving for later. They are more pragmatic than one who grew up in US who will more focus on short term wins
