A leaders mind can be expanded in four respects to avoid a stagnant inflexible mindset that limits adaptable success. For each element provide two sentences how you will develop each to overcome blind spots.

a. Independent thinking- is the desire of a person to convince oneslef that the informationbeing presented is true or reeasonable.

b. Open mindedness (Pike Syndrome)- is a willingness to try new things or to hear and consider new ideas.

c. Systems thinking- is a holistic approach to analysis that focuses on the way that a system constituent parts interrelate and how systems work over time and within the context of larger systems.

d. Personal Mastery- is something that we all want to achive, whethr we know it or not. It is about our journey towards continous improvement and seeing life from a different perspective. Personal mastery is guided by principles such as purpose, vision, beleif, commitment and knowing oneself.

A. a) Independent thinking: Having an unbiased outlook for everything facilitates independent thinking. Forming an opinion or taking a stance for everything is equally important in this regards.

b) Open mindedness: One must have a risk appetite to foster open mindedness. Being open to learn new things and trying new things also helps in developing an open mind.

c) Systems thinking: Identification of the primary problem in every situation is the first step in developing systems thinking. Analyzing the problem and developing hypothesis of the same facilitates to hone this skill.

d) Personal mastery: Personal mastery can be incorporated by seeking continuous development. Asking feedback from everyone with whom you interact and taking it constructively also helps.
