A circular racetrack has inside and outside radii of 125 m and 185 m and the outside is 15 m higher than the inside. How fast can a racecar travel safely at the inside and outside of the track?
The answers on the worksheet are given as [30 m/s] and [37 m/s] but I ended up with something quite different. Any help would be appreciated!
I am getting answer as
Inner velocity= 17.5089 m/s
Outer velocity= 21.3005 m/s
I think the answer given in worksheet is wrong, because this is the method only by which it is solved.

A transparent glass hemisphere with radius R and mass m has an index of refraction n. In the medium outside the hemisphere, the index of refraction is equal to one. A parallel beam of monochromatic laser light is incident uniformly and normally onto the central portion of its planar surface, as shown in Figure 3. The acceleration of gravity g is vertically downwards. The radius 8 of the circular cross-section of the laser beam is much...
Physics Lab Assignment This particular discovery is also an example of how those who deserve an award sadly are not always the ones who receive it. Read the following passage focusing your attention on the scientific procedures and scientific abilities you have been developing throughout the course. The discovery of pulsars –rotating neutron stars that generate regular pulses of radiation at their spin rate- was fortuitous. A group of astrophysicists from Cambridge University lead by Anthony Hewish was looking for...
The discovery of pulsars –rotating neutron stars that generate regular pulses of radiation at their spin rate- was fortuitous. A group of astrophysicists from Cambridge University lead by Anthony Hewish was looking for quasars (these are extremely bright, compact and remote objects that emit up to a thousand times as much light as our entire galaxy). For that purpose the research group designed a radio-telescope that was built on the flat fields surrounding Cambridge in central England. This telescope did...

For me, the recent events in the Middle East have been a painful reminder of one of the most important lessons for any leader: You don’t really know what it’s like to run a business until you’ve had to do it amid the turmoil of war. In 1991, I was...

Please read the article and answer about questions. You and the Law Business and law are inseparable. For B-Money, the two predictably merged when he was negotiat- ing a deal for his tracks. At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change. In either type of situation, when business owners know the law, they can better protect themselves and sometimes even avoid the problems completely. This chapter...
