After going through all the theories in criminal justice, do you believe that the theories actually explain what the issues are and how to solve them or just make things more confusing? What theory do you like the best and why?
All the Criminal Justice Theories explain the causes for crime and way to control them in a better way. They make more sense than confusion. In my opinion, Social Control Theory makes more sense because it suggests that there are social norms in every society. If these norms are internalized and valued, people wouldn’t engage in criminal activities. This theory brings out the importance of communities and their need to work as a single unit that values its rules and regulations. People who do not value these norms are definitely do not belong to the group.

We have learned about the theories and characteristics behind the social and market justice systems as they relate to health care. Social justice theory assumes that the government is more responsible and efficient in allocating health resources equitably. All, as a basic right, should have equal access to medical care and ability to pay is inconsequential. Health care is a social good rather than an economic good like in the market justice system. Market justice theory assumes that markets are...
What do you think should be a main priority of intervention in the criminal justice system – targeting drug use or crimes that are being committed by drug users? Is giving an individual a criminal record for using an illicit substance more likely to deter use? Or would such a record in fact be a risk factor for them committing other (perhaps even more serious) crimes

Compare and contrast the diifferent theories of aggression. Which do you think are best/worst? Why? Describe a personal experience that you have had with aggression (either you experienced it or witnessed it). Which theory or theories of aggression might help you to understand this situation? Social learning theory suggests that allowing kids to play violent video games causes increased aggressive behavior because kids imitate the characters in the games. The research does support this (although it clearly does not say...

Explain why, and please relate your own experiences and examples to this discussion.
Respond to this post with 150 on your thoughts Fortunately, the theories of both purchasing power parity and interest rate parity do not have any problems. Do you agree with this statement? The statement for this week’s forum I don’t agree with at all. My first thought upon reading the statement was that there is nothing that does not experience a problem at some sort, and when it comes to the economy this is very true. The theories of purchasing...
