Research available resources to learn about new or cutting edge applications for digital devices that are not technically "information technology." That is, find the use of computing devices in the resolution or mitigation of an issue, event, catastrophe, and the like. It's not important especially that this activity be successful, but please include in your discussion, whether or not it was and why.

In my opinion, one of the cutting edge applications for digital devices is in the monitoring health of an individual through the usage of digital devices. It is important to mention that such devices are one of the innovative technologies that help in tracking the health condition of an individual in a localized way or remotely. Often it can be seen that IOT or the internet of things are used in getting constant of a patient's health condition remotely. Any abnormal behavior of an individual or a patient can be tracked by the health tracking sensors and they can even send the data for immediate and urgent action. These have gained huge popularity and the technology will develop further in the future.
