What are some capacity problems a particular testing center (a business that gives exams on computers for people wanting to go to college, or are already in college) could run into? Also, what are some solutions to these problems?

Note: The testing center’s demand is starting to increase, and there may not be enough computers that testing center uses to administer exams on to keep up with the demand.

Capacity problems:

1. Stored data accessibility:

• Problem: Data which is stored, if it is hard to access then it’s of no use.
• Solution: Creating a system which will be user friendly and accessible to user interface. This will help in accessing user information whatever needed.

2. Size of data:

• Problem: If volume of information is big, it becomes more complex.
• Solution: different system has to be created for saving large number of data. If a particular system is created and used to save both type of data – small & large. Then it is likely to create problems and becomes more complex.

3. System flexibility:

• Problem: Volume and type of inventory you are storing currently may vary in future. Hence, it faces a problem of scalability.
• Solution: If user is storing some kind of information now, it might change in future. Hence the system user is currently using has to be flexible for the same. If it is not, it will show up many problems.
