Please discuss the significance of User Experience and User Interface in mechatronics?
Mechatronics a multidisciplinary branch of engineering which focuses on electronic as well as mechanical systems development. It is a combination of robotics, computer, electronics, telecommunications system, control and process.
User Experience is identification of pain points of user and based on these identified pain points a prototype is developed which is later on tested and validated for its ability to give the solution for the identified problem. The significance of user experience (UX) lies in identification of right pain point or problem which is of most significant importance. In Mechatronics for example developing a robotic system for plant processes there must be validation of business model and the value proposition which the product brings once both are validated the products are developed.
User Interface (UI) is also known as micro interactions where as UX was macro interactions. User interface is combination of visual design and interaction design. UI become very important aspect of mechatronics because UI is the customer or user facing interface and it must be user friendly there are many good technologies which had to be scrapped because its UI was not user friendly.
Best products is mechatronics are those which have best combination of UX and UI, UX is something which delivers on value proposition but the value proposition may not remain unique and there may be some best technology which have got more value proposition but UI helps in retaining the technology by users because they find UI of technology as very friendly and easy to operate and this bring is competitive edge over others.

Cite a past experience where user interface development methods might apply to another system development activity that might not have a strong user interface component. Consider options that would apply in various situations.
Discuss three human values that are necessary to be understood by interface designers in order to ensure a timely user experience.
Discuss the importance of the user experience when implementing or changing components of health information technology.
QUESTION : A popular term used to describe a computer or web interface is "user-friendly." While it is understood to be positive, it is fairly vague. Describe, in your own words and based on your own experience with a particular software interface, what makes it user-friendly. Minimum 150 words.
A slider is a user interface component that allows a user to specify a continuum of values. To be notified of slider movement, you need to attach a class that implements the ChangeListener interface type. Read the API documentation for JSlider and ChangeListener. Implement a program that contains a slider and a car icon. The size of the car should increase or decrease as the slider is moved.
Discuss the FOUR (4) roles for Multi-user OS, resource allocator, resource controller, resource monitor, and user-friendly interface
The objective of this project is to provide experience working with user interface menus and programmed decision making. Modify the C++ source you created in Project # 2 to incorporate the following requirements: 1. Present a menu to the user which includes: a. Enter checking account transaction b. Enter savings account transaction c. Quit 2. If the user selects a., request the checking account balance, the checking account transaction date, the checking account description, and the checking account amount from...
Computer Science: Operating Systems - (File-System Interface) Some systems automatically delete all user files when a user logs off or a job terminates, unless the user explicitly requests that they be kept; other systems keep all files unless the user explicitly deletes them. Discuss the relative merits of each approach.
The interface is where a user interacts with the system. True or False?
User interviews can be useful in user experience design. There are many different questions that can be asked, but your goals may only require a few of them. For this discussion, assume that you are contracted to design a news web site and you are interviewing an end user. List at least three questions that would ask regarding their experiences with news web sites. Explain how your questions help you understand how they navigate the sites and how the styling...
