Some systems analysts find it better to start with a decision table, and then construct a decision tree. Others believe it is easier to do it in the reverse order. Which do you prefer? Why?
I prefer to start with a decision tree and later constructing a decision table.
A Decision tree gives a graphical view of the logic involved in a whole system and it is easy to construct and understand. on the other hand decision table is complex and difficult to construct. Decision tree can be easily understood and accessed by other members of the organisation. Decision table can be constructed easily after the construction of decision tree. To make the process simpler and easier, it is better to make decision tree first and then construct the decision table.

Corporate decision makers and analysts often use a particular technique, called a DuPont analysis, to better understand the factors that drive a company's financial performance, as reflected by its return on equity (ROE). By using the DuPont equation, which disaggregates the ROE into three components, analysts can see why a company's ROE may have changed for the better or worse, and identify particular company strengths and weaknesses. The DuPont Equation A DuPont analysis is conducted using the DuPont equation, which...

In line with this debate, some analysts and organizational researchers argue that firms are better off acquiring other firms that pursue the same business-level strategy. Do you agree?
