Skinner became interested in studying human behavior in an objective and scientific way. He said that we need to accept that psychology cannot be a science of the mind, but it is the science of behavior, observable, measurable and predictive. Theorizing that the false notion of free will exists, we can accept that behaviors are controlled through reinforcement.
