A car company was preparing their marketing materials for the 2020 version of their popular SUV. One of their main messages that they wanted to communicate to the consumer it was that they could drive the car and all types of locations and that they would get good gas mileage no matter where they drove they decided to design studies so that they would have dated to help support this claim they hired 30 professional drivers and had them each drive in three different environments; in a city, on the highway, and a mountains. They recorded the average MPG for each trip and categorize the results as " better than industry average" " industry average", or " worse than industry average" summarize data is shown in the table below.

since expected cell count of for a result of "better" in the mountains
=total cell count of better*total cell count of mountain/total cell count

=(6+8+4)*(4+12+14)/90

=6
