You are the Human Resource Officer in your company. You have been asked to present to the CEO of your company a topic of significance that could have great impact on the way the company runs in the future. You need recommendations that are clearly stated as to how to implement the changes needed to maintain success. You should have at least three recommendations.

I would recommend the following three proposal to the CEO in order to get future success=

  1. It is very important for any organization to have human resource diversity in its organization as diversity rings a lot of advantages for the organization. With the greater diversity in human resources, the company will be able to induce the different thinking processes, opinions of individuals and variety of thought processes that will bring the new perspective of each issue faced by the organization. The chances of success o the organizations having greater human resource diversity are more than the ones which lack it. In order to have greater diversity, the organization must ensure the participation of different ethnic groups, gender, and cultural backgrounds. The company can promote the minorities in the upper and middle management and have greater participation in these groups in the workforce.
  2. Talent acquisition is another important area where the management needs to focus on. With the acquisition of good talent no organization can succeed in this competitive environment. The companies at present tussle with each other over the acquisition of talented individuals and thus talent acquisition plays a significant role in the development of a world class organization. In order to ensure the availability of proper talent in the firm, the firm needs to provide various monetary and non-monetary benefits to the candidates. Apart from this, better career development opportunities, greater participation in decision making and freedom and liberty on a job are important to have better talent in the organization.
  3. Training and development should also be focused by the firm as without this the firm’s manpower will lack adequate knowledge and training to be successful in their job. The main objective of training and development is to identify the areas of improvement of the manpower and then providing training on these areas so that they can be successful members.   This can be done by having the training audit in which the HR manager will determine the required level of skill in the manpower and the actual level of the skills and then depending on the gap analysis, training will be provided to the manpower. This must be a regular exercise in the firm.
