Please think of 2 on line only retailers that might benefit from a brick and mortar presence. What, specifically, could they do to generate in-storee excitement? Explain your thoughts.
Most common online retailers I can think about are -
Amazon and eBay.
Benefit of online retailers from brick and mortar :-
a) Online retailers can easily enter into a new market with their products and they also don't need particular outlet or staffs to take care about.
b) There is huge growing opportunity for online retailers as they can widely expand their business which is very difficult of brick and mortar store.
c) Customers can choose any product from the wide range of choices at any time and place and this flexibility is not present in brick stores.
d) Customers can buy a product from any part of the world by simply clicking the link which helps the e-commerce to sell more products and increase profits.
Ways to generate in-store excitement :-
a) As the products are not present physically, so while buying online products customers always thinks about their quality. But while buying any product in brick and mortar store, customers can easily check the quality of the product and then buy if suitable.
b) The brick and mortar store has the ability to present the products in a very attractive manner if have a wide outlet which can attract and motive customers to buy products.
c) Consumers always appreciate great services and being valued. Brick retailers, due the physical presence can have the advantage to prioritize the customers so they would feel valued. Customers, when feel welcomed, gives profit to the retailers as would become loyal to those retailers.
Hope this helps :)
