Before this let us discuss some of the federal laws that I have studied or searched:
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII) - This law basically
aims to protect everyone right to provide equal opportunity in the
field of employment to everyone. Discrimination if any based on
race, color, sex is not acceptable.
The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 – It prohibits
discrimination based on age.
So based on the above laws, I can say that following factors
violated federal law:
1. Sexism: Hiring of only females so as to increase passenger foot-fall or turnover is under the violation of federal law.
2. Age discrimination while hiring 21 - 34 age group females for air jobs is one of the major factor that is under federal law violations
3. Racism - Promoting black people is in fact racial discrimination rather than no racial discirmination, It was done to make sure other violations are not being taken care by federal law.
