Yes. True that Internal and External communications both are the key to success of the performance management. What is performance management? It is all simply the process of work environment which enable people to perform of their capabilities ad abilities. Many companies are working hard towards achieving effective and efficient performance management systems. Many software now a days are used by organisations to evaluate and improve management of working professionals. Today both internal and external communication is supported for the overall growth of the organisation. Employees are advised to take help from the internal employees to improve their performance through learning and many times they are asked to take help from the external trainers and employees from other organisations in the same work profile to improve their skills and competencies. Many organisations specially arrange meetings weekly and monthly to collect employees at one place and discuss about their issues and problems what the are facing or their suggestions for better management in the organisation. This do not only boost the performance of the employees by discussing hi/her issues rather also gives him confidence that the employer is placing trust on him and listening to his problems. The internal communication is far more important and usual in companies since employees prefer discussing in between their comfort zone or we can say the friend circles about their problems and issues and many times the solutions from the peers gives more comfort and satisfaction to the person instead of the employer talk. External communication is also a major source of analysing the performance of the employee. It is a round process starting from Plan to Act to Monitor to Review. It is an ongoing process between a manager and employees. The internal communication between a manger and employee is very important. Many times when employee do not find comfort with the manager and do not discuss his/her issues with him, it ultimately results in his bad performance. This is because you cannot take the responsibility alone. A healthy discussion and taking suggestions from the manager while working is very important. It builds trust in the mind of the manager that you are working hard and on this basis your performance is judged.
