Answer #1

Applicants after seeing a vacancy provides a resume which show cases the best part of them and in reality it may vary in terms of skill value and personal value which in some cases act counter productive to the organisation. Interviewers getting judgemental with first impression is also one of the key reasons for poor choise of the employee. Introduction of some steps in the recruitment process could help in choosing the rightful candidate.

Multiple screening process could be implemented. ie, the candidates could be provided with some set of questions that would make them think for the job ,as well as those for which efforts are to be made would prove how genuinely they wish for the job. The inclusion of phone interview would be benefitial to analyse the candidates regarding their vision , level of seniority and expected job salary as it would help in deciding if continuing further with the candidate makes sense or not. Also we should include a trial period where the candidates are to be trained for the job and to be provided with paid task to check their effectiveness.
