PYTHON PROBLEM Define a function generate_kv_strings( dictionary ) that creates and return a list where the element is a string representing a key-value pair in the format "key: value". Your solution must use a list comprehension. Hint: Remember that you need to convert each key and value into a str before concatenating them, in case they are of a different type. Example Usage: states = {'Florida': 'FL', 'Oregon': 'OR', 'California': 'CA', 'New York': 'NY', 'North Carolina': 'NC'} numbers = {'four':...

    1. use python List to Dictionary Write a function that has three parameters: a list of unsorted numbers with no duplicates, a start number, and an end number. This function should return a dictionary with all integers between the start and end number (inclusive) as the keys and their respective indices in the list as the value. If the integer is not in the list, the corresponding value would be None. Example unsorted list: [2,1,10,0,4,3] two numbers: 3, 10 returned...

What’s the right code of this problem 1. You are given the the data dictionary below. Notice that the gdp data are stored as strings. Fix data by replacing the strings with the approriate floats and then print the dict. You might try using a loop or a list comprehension. : data 'year [1998, 2eee, 2818], 'gdp:'8.95, 12.56, '14.78'] print (datal'gdp']) # the gdp data are strings (how can you teu?)

This program will require you to create a basic parser for an input string that is somewhat like Python. Python has an older parser module and a newer ast module to manage pure Python syntax, but they won't be useful here. The program will read a data string, identify the control characters, and print out the overall structure of the string. Here's an example Input String: [{1}] Output: Number inside a dictionary inside a list Here are some basic rules...

on python Design a function that can generate a histogram of characters in a string with the function prototype: histogram(string) It takes a string as the input parameter and returns a Python dictionary. Then design a function with the following prototype. print_hist_asc(histogram) It takes a histogram generated from your histogram function and print the histogram according to the frequency in the ascending order. Example input: “aaaaabbbbcccdde” Example output: e 1 d 2 c 3 b 4 a 5

Write a python program: Ask for the encryption key. The key must be a list of numbers between 0 and N-1, where N is the number of entries in the key's list; for example, 5,4,3,2,1,0 has six numbers, and each digit 0-5 appears in the list. Asks for a line of text to encrypt. Use the transposition key to transpose each chunk of N letters in input text. If the input text is not a multiple of the key length,...
