Answer #1

Solar cell can not be made from metals as the working principle of solar cells involves conversion of solar energy to electrical energy . When photon from light of sun falls on metal then metal does not have band gap large enough to absorb light energy from sun and no ekectrin hole pairs are generated however band gap of a semiconductor is such that it can absorb light energy and produce electron hole pairs which conducts through the closed circuit and gives us electrical energy

Please rate it up thanks :)

One can assemble a “virtual” solar cell array by using playing cards, or business or index cards, to represent a solar cell. Combinations of these cards in series and/or parallel can model the required array output. Assume each card has an output of 0.5 V and a current (under bright light) of 2 A. Using your cards, how would you arrange them to produce an output of 6 A at 3 V (18 W)? Suppose you were told that you...

Transition metals can be distinguished from main-group metals by the fact that transition metals have higher relative atomic weights than main-group metals. only the main-group mctals can form complex ions. main-group metals have only +1 or +2 oxidation states. transition metals have a greater tendency to form colored compounds than main- group metals. main-group metals have higher relative atomic weights than transition metals.
