Panadol is a commercial painkiller whose active ingredient is Paracetamol (also known as Acetaminophen).
Paracetamol consists of a benzene ring which is substituted by one hydroxyl group and the nitrogen atom of
an ethanamide group in the para position. Its formula is C8H9NO2
ADVIL
Advil is also a commercial painkiller whose active ingredient is Ibuprofen.
Its formula is C13H18O2
Ibuprofen ( Advil) looks more like aspirin in terms of its chemical structure.
