You are a zealot of a deontological discipline or religion. One of the religions axioms states that you should not talk, visit, or even touch those not in your discipline. If you do you, and your family will be thrown out of the discipline. All within your family have believed for thousands of years, that only in this discipline will you live forever. You are traveling home and see someone laying on the side of the road. You are concerned about this fellow human being but then think that if they are severely injured you will have to touch them to pick them up, and what if they are not of your religion? As you contemplate your dilemma of whether to touch this person to aid them you hear your father's voice telling you how proud he is that you have followed in the family tradition of being loyal to this religion. So what do you do? If you touch this person and they are not of your religion you and your family will be ostracized from the discipline. You step back to contemplate your situation, what are you thinking, and what do you do?

Answer #1

Most religious individuals think their profound quality originates from their religion. What's more, profoundly religious individuals frequently wonder how nonbelievers can have any ethical quality whatsoever.

In this situation, I must feel myself to be in Confusional state as I would feel helping that person. After lots of thinking I would feel that if a person has faith in the Golden Rule, of treating other's religion, issues and different convictions with deference, else one welcomes others to treat their convictions with lack of regard. Once more, regard doesn't mean understanding or opportunity from the test or even analysis. It implies treating other people who think uniquely in contrast to you with respect.

I trust it is difficult to really serve God and his youngsters in the event that we, ourselves, are packed proudly. Creating quietude is a decision that requires exertion yet as we come to comprehend why we ought to be modest it will turn out to be simpler to turn out to be unassuming. As we humble ourselves before the Lord our longing to serve God will enormously increment as will our ability to have the capacity to give of ourselves in the administration of every one of our siblings and sisters. I realize our Heavenly Father profoundly cherishes us-beyond what we can envision and as we pursue the Savior's order to "adore each other; as I have cherished you" we will probably do as such. I will think to discover straightforward, yet significant approaches to day by day serve God as we serve one another.
