Discuss the possible opportunities and threats in this country for the product. You should also support your analysis with actual data. I'm taking a Ghari Detergent Powder(from India) and I'm choosing UAE for environmental analysis.
Environmental analysis comprises of certain factors which are responsible for the venture or organisational success.
Economic Factors- I've chosen this country for various reasons. The UAE has a very low unemployment rate. This means that most people are employed here. So if i launch this product it doesn't need any laundry and will vanish all the dirt within few seconds.
Social Factors- The inhabitants live comfortable life and are less dependent on others. They do most of their work on their own irrespective of their high paying jobs. Globalization is the result that they are accessible to different cultures .So adapting Indian product won't create a chaos there.
There are 27% Indians in UAE which constitute the largest part of the country. Over 2 million indian migrants are estimated to be living in UAE which means it won't be difficult to make the product famous amongst the population.
Technological Factors- The young population is very techno freak. They are allowed to work after 10th and is very hardworking. The wealth that the country posses allows the population to buy new products and be in vanguard of technological development.
Legal Factors- UAE provides various opportunities to introduce new products in Market. It is a business hub where vompanico around the globe lauch their products. Legally you can launch but only by registering the brand. You have to first get registered in the country and then after such formalities you can do your business.
Environmental Factors- The temperature of the country is quite humid. So people has to change their clothes twice a day. This can increase the sale of soaps and detergents. The UAE is near the coastal area, allowing for easier trade by sea.
By these factors in mind I've decided to launch the Product "Ghari Detergent" in UAE.
