For your original post, describe two events that, were they to occur, would violate each violate one of the four laws of thermodynamics. Make sure to explain how each violates the law your are demonstrating. (Example of an event that would violate the second law: You stir your morning beverage and it separates into coffee and cream.)
Given the objective is to descrirbe the 2 evnets that were they to occur would violate, each violate one of the four laws of thermodynamics.
an event that would violate the second law:you stir your morning bevarage and it separates into cofee and cream.
Event 1: A glass of water at normal room temperature becomes boiling hot, on its own, when kept on the table in a room taht is at normal room temparature.
This will violae the 2nd law of thermodynamics which says the enropy of a system and ts surroundings must always increase and spreading of heat is an imporant part of entropy increse. Here i is getting concentrated in that particular glass which will violate the second law of thermodynamics. A perpetual motion machine will also violate this law as it means heat and energy from the machine will be consrained in the system till eternity without any input.
Event 2: A heavy ball (negligible air resstance) thrown with a cerain velocity from a high rise building hits the ground with the same velocity or less velocity then initial velocity.
This will violate the 1st law of conservation of energy. As the ball falls from the height, its gravitational potential energy decreases and that must be converted into kinetic energy by increse in its velocity. As the ball is heavy air resistance is very less and can't be the reason for decrease in velocity.
End of the solution.
Hope this will help you.

For your main Discussion post, describe at least two typical adjusting entries a service-type business would need to record to bring account balances up-to-date. For your examples, one of the adjusting entries should be an accrual and another a deferral. You may use similar examples as those in your textbook and you may also research other typical adjusting entries for service-type companies. Be sure to address the following questions: What are the purposes of each of your example adjusting entries?...

"Caffeine may east post-workout pain" New York Reuters health- That morning cup of coffee may be an antidote to post-exercise muscle soreness, if preliminary research is correct. IN a small study of female college students researchers found that a caffeine supplement seemed to lessen the familiar muscle pain that crops up the day after a particularly challenging workout. Known as delayed-onset muscle soreness or DOMS. The pain is common in the day or two after a workout that was more...
D Chapter 15 Problem Set Suppose you are planning a study that will est the following one-tailed hypotheses: To evaluate the power of your study, you consider a specific alternative hypothesis, μ-Ha, where μ.> μ。. The following sketch shows two overlapping sampling distributions of X-one when Ho is true (and H1 is false), the other when Hy is true (and Ho is false). The distribution on the left has a mean of yo and represents the sampling distribution of X...
1.Criminal and civil court cases are different. Consider these two business cases. (i) Civil- In the Liebeck v. McDonald’s case, a woman sued McDonald’s for serving hot coffee. The woman spilled hot coffee on her lap while trying to add cream and sugar. The woman sued McDonald’s for negligence, in a civil suit. The issue centered on whether or not the coffee’s specific temperature was unreasonably hot. McDonald’s lost the lawsuit. The compensatory verdict was $160,000. McDonald’s was found liable....
Identify who can bring a lawsuit and against what defendants and based on what law and applied facts. Briefly explain whether the case is strong or weak. When finding ‘torts’ (chapter 6) be sure to name the tort, provide a brief definition, and apply to the relevant facts indicating again, the identity of the defendant. You may make a list of the lawsuits (number them if you want to do so), setting out the identity of the plaintiff, the law...

This communication plan should detail all the different scenarios where distinc- tive people should be contacted and what their contact information is when specific events or incidents occur. Organizations should work hard to establish the best IR communication plan as...
