I prefer cloud-based applications more than the installed ones, even when the process of implementation of both takes the same considerations, I prefer to have the aspect of control, ease of not having to install the application physically as well as the fact that we can access the application from any given location, as well as device, is also a plus point. Some applications that require complex calculations can become hard for our personal computer’s abilities to handle and therefore, having the option of cloud application allows us to free ourselves from the considerations.
The main consideration is the ease of access since I can edit my documents even till the last moment before submission is the best possible functionality that I prefer in cloud-based versions of the Office Suite.
