Answer: A) stimulants do not have therapeutic uses

Stimulants such as Ritalin, Dexedrine are used in pharmaco-therapy for neuro-debelopmental disorders such as ADHD , narcolepsy etc. Stimulants tend to increase the production of dopamine and norepinerphrine in the brain and thereby allows people with ADHD to concentrate better and focus their attention on the activities. Hence, we can not say that stimulants are not used for therapeutic usages.

Stimulants do increase the activity of CNS with regards to increase in attention, alertness, physical activity, better cognitive skillse tc.

It does lead to physiological dependence by repeated usage and leads to addiction,and higher tolerance.It also provides short term euphoric and pleasurable highs which helps the individuals to escape from the stress or current difficulties..
