After browsing through various state health department websites, the New York State Health Department website presents a cohesive and comprehensive health plan performance index.

Addressing the biggest global health challenge ie the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the authorities in New York have temporarily suspended schools, colleges, House of Worship and other crowded facilities w.e.f March 21st to March 25th 2020.

The website https://health.ny.gov/diseases/communicable/coronavirus/ also lists the countywise positive cases of COVID-19 across the state of New York. The report also sheds light on the symptoms of COVID-19 and when to quarantine and isolate the infected person. More importantly, the report shares preventive tips such as washing hands frequently with soap and water or an alcohol based sanitiser; avoid touching eyes and face frequently; maintaining distance from people who are sick; and covering the mouth while coughing or sneezing.
