is marginal utility cardinal or ordinal? please provide reasoning

Firstly let us understand that what is Cardinal utility and ordinal utility .

Cardinal utility is the satisfaction which is derived when the consumer and express the satisfaction in terms of numerically.

but in ordinal utility ,there is a rank which is provided about the satisfaction from the customer cardinal utility is generally quantitative and ordinal utility is generally qualitative .

if we come to marginal utility then it is measured in the utils.

The formula of marginal utility it is the ratio of difference between the change in total utility upon changing total quantity so it can clearly seen that it is measured in numerical values.
