Anthropology : What are the differences in ethnicity and ethnic identification in the United States for white ethnic groups and ethnic groups of color? Do you assert an ethnic identity? Why or why not? What are the markers, if any, of your ethnic identity?

The ethnicity and ethnic identification in the united states for the white ethnic group are they identify themselves by their ancestry or their origin which is the west. Majorly the ethnic identification is Caucasian and some of the white ethnic groups identify themselves as being the origin of Germans, Irish and English- culturally while for the ethnic group of color which is the African- American having origins from Africa. Yes, I assert an ethnic identity because it is demanded from me by my group and I feel is important to know where do I belong culturally. The markers are language, food, and clothing style.
