Answer)
A cloned website means a website which is a clone of some original website. Such a website is a fake website of the original one which is known phishing website. Phishing is the type of attack where the attacker will pose as a genuine party. He will compel the user for entering sensitive information in an email or a website faking the original website and thus attacking the user stealing the sensitive data from him.
Phishing is used to steal sensitive information such as user id, passwords, credentials and sensitive personal information by the attacker disguising oneself as a genuine party asking for the details from the customer.
When we input any (valid/invalid) credentials on the cloned website, these may be stored in the attacker's database and the attacker might use them for analyzing the password and then access the user's account on the original website.
