Brief introduction to robot, some of the examples of robot and robot revolution are given in systematic way.

ROBOT:Essentially, robot is a machine(programmable) which perform complex set of actions automatically. Robot term was coined by Czech Karel Capek in the year 1920. The word 'robot' was derived from the Czech word robota, which means slavery.

Some of the examples of robots are

Water clock: Egyptians developed a first robot called "water clock" which is in 1500 B.C. Water clocks measures time as a result of the force water falling through a constant rate.

Pigeon: In 350 B.C. Archytas, a Greek mathematician developed a robot known as "Pigeon" which is a mechanical bird that can move into the air through the use of steam.

PackBots: PackBots robot manufactured by iRobot in the year 2000. the primary function of PackBot is to determine the structural condition of constructed building and search the rubbish for survivors.

ASIMO: In the year 2000 Honda brought ASIMO robot, which was primarily designed to advancement of the mobility of robots. The Function of ASIMO are walk and climb stars, able to run, turn, navigate and map tis environment and avoid obstacles respectively.

ROBOTIC REVOLUTION: Robot revolution will definitely transform the global economy in the next 20 years, by minimizing the costs of doing business but aggravating social imbalance, as machines take over everything automatically.

Robots performs manual jobs, such as cleaning the living room or assembling different machine parts, the development of AI means machine is able to think, analyse and perform specific task. An analysts from investment Bank of America Merrill Lynch draw on the latest cutting edge research in AI an robot as fourth industrial revolution, following steam, mass production and electronics respectively

The stride of disruptive technological innovation has gone from a linear to parabolic in the recent couple of years. In deed, we are facing a pattern shift which would change the way we live and work. Perforation of robots as well as AI has become integral part of our daily live and hit every industry sector drastically.

However, as per the Oxford university research is concerned, robotic revolution could leave up to 35% of all workers in the UK, 47% in US, over the next 20 years. The Bank in US says The trend is worrying in markets like the US because of many of the jobs created in last couple of years are low-paying, manual and services jobs respectively, which is considered as high risk for replacement.

The major risk off robots and AI is the potential for increasing polarisation of labour, in particularly for low-paying jobs like service occupations, and make a empty space for middle income manual labour jobs.
