The proprietary security as well as the contract security services are responsible for protecting the organizations or businesses and also ensures the proper safety of the employees and the customers. The proprietary security service is mostly controlled by a particular organization or company and also looks to hire, manage the personnel working under the company. Whereas the contract security services are mostly operated the professional security company and even provide services to other organizations or businesses as well.
2) The main objective for outsourcing both the physical and cyber security is the cost reduction. If an organization is planning to outsource their security for long term they can actually implement new technologies to provide security to their infrastructure. Outsourcing of both security will not only provide system availability but also guarantees a great service as well. Moreover, the complexity of managing the entire security for an infrastructure is an tough job. Another valid point which can be considered with outsourcing your security is that company can easily audit the security and can charge the service provider if there is any loopholes. Not only these, but also the organization don't have to hire security experts for themselves and can save a lot of amount in that.
3) In my mind, outsourcing your security is always a great decision because the business don't have to manage the security and they can easily focus on the application part. There are actually several advantages of outsourcing the security:
