In addition, the rule is that ou first add the numbers as you would do normally. Now you will need to keep that many significant numbers as qual to the least significant digits in any of the original numbers.

So among 27000, 13000 and 5432, both 27000 and 13000 have only 2 significant figures. SO the final answer cannot have more than 2 significant figures.

So, first lets add them normally

27000+13000+5432 = 45432

Now as there can only be 2 significant digits finally so reduce this to:

4.5 * 104 ( Answer)
