Banks need to keep their competition out in order to sustain in the market and for this they provide various loans and interest discounts to customers. It is ethical on their part as it is their business until they do it in a fair manner. When they try to seek illegal means to raise their profits , it would be unethical and punishable . Until then banks trying to keep their competition out is ethical and their way of doing the business.
