Imagine you are setting up your classroom and want to create a literacy-rich environment. Describe the age of the students you serve as well as what someone would see walking into your classroom. Name and describe five elements included within your classroom to ensure it is a literacy-rich environment.

1. Literary rich classroom is mainly designed for the disabled children. This type of classroom helps the disabled children to learn letters and words.

2. It is mainly started from the beginning of the schooling of a child when they start to learn new words. In some classroom the average age of the students can be 5 years. Again in the another class the average age can be 7 years. But all the students bears some learning disabilities.

3. To make a classroom literary rich one should use some basic things:

• Word walls: On the wall words are written with sufficient visual display. By mere noticing the words students become familiar with these words.
• Using wall charts: Wall charts are really helpful. The charts include class routine, common habits, moral advices, vowel or consonant charts etc.  
• Loud reading: Loud reading is very effective to the students. With the help of loud reading words become familiar to the students.
• Wall pictures: Wall pictures in the classroom is very attractive to the children. The pictures must be very common and attractive. These pictures help to increase the stock of vocabulary.
• Classroom library: It is really effective and it increases the habit of reading books in the students.
