1) Much of current all research is focused on replicating human thought in computers. What similarities exist between the human brain and computers that lead scientists to believe that this is a feasible endeavor? What differences complicate this type of research?

Human n is connected to different parts of the body through the neural network and it collects signals through the senses and makes a decision how to act on that sensory input. Secondly, brain administers and allocates different memories in different parts of the brain. This would also mean that the brain is also capable of creating, storing and recalling memories in order to make the organism function effectively. Thus, scientists are trying to copy the brain and its functions in developing artificial intelligence which would replicate the human brain and its functions. However, the problem with this is that the human brain is capable of indefinite storage and decision making which the machines might lack. Machines would act according to the codes or laws given by human beings thus, how they act would depend on the codes which would limit their autonomy but human beings could act according to the context and adopting the environment to change their behaviors.
