In recent news we have heard about perfect competition market that is about agricultural market which is also an example of perfect market. Where lot of farmers are available with variety of fruits ,vegetables and grains. They all sell products nearly on similar prices.
In recent news it was seen that still lot of buyers and sellers available in the agricultural market there will be over hike in price of tomato’s and wheat in Pakistan. It was such an unbelievable action normally tomato’s are priced at Rs 40 per kg INR but in recent days it was seen Rs 250 per kg INR. Products are identical in perfect market and lot of sellers are available still so much competition has been seen due to shortage of suppliers and shortage of agricultural transportation.
from this I have learned even though prices are similar in perfect market still it can be fluctuate due to abnormal incidents.
