You suspect that your average systolic blood pressure is high, that is μ > 140 mmHg. In order to perform the test you are taking n = 20 independent measurements over several days. The sample mean is 3.3 and the sample standard deviation is 7.4.

A) Find the value of the test statistic. Round your answer to the nearest 0.01.

B) Find the number of degrees of freedom.

C) Assume that the test statistic is 0.234. Find the p-value.

D)  What is your conclusion for the test based on the p-value at significance level 0.05?
